Уважаемые коллеги и друзья!
Рад приветствовать участников и читателей специализированного
отраслевого сборника «Водный транспорт юга России»,
который издается при поддержке Ассоциации торговопромышленных
палат Южного федерального округа, а также
при содействии Ассоциации «Водный транспорт Дона».
Ассоциация ТПП ЮФО, объединяющая сегодня свыше 40 территориальных
и муниципальных палат, действующих на территории
Южного федерального округа, является также мощным
бизнес-объединением предприятий водного транспорта,
судостроительной, судоремонтной и портовой инфраструктуры.
Именно поэтому Ассоциация приняла решение поддержать
проект «Водный транспорт юга России».
На страницах издания рассказывается о профессиональных
объединениях и ведущих предприятиях отрасли. Этот каталог
ведущих предприятий отрасли дает полный обзор портовой
инфраструктуры юга России, рассказывает о судостроении,
судоремонте, судовом оборудовании. Здесь собраны ведущие
образовательные и научные центры водного транспорта
юга России, а также учреждения здравоохранения.
Этот сборник станет путеводителем в мир водного транспорта,
который сегодня активно развивается и требует пристального
внимания как экономически перспективный и
стратегически важный сектор экономики страны.

Dear colleagues and friends!
I am glad to greet the participants and readers of the specialized
sectoral digest book “Water Transport of the South of Russia”,
which is published with the support of the Association of Chambers
of Commerce and Industry of the Southern Federal District, as well
as with the assistance of the Don Waterway Transport Association.
The Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the
Southern Federal District, which currently unites over 40 territorial
and municipal chambers operating in the Southern Federal District,
is a powerful business community of water transport companies,
as well as enterprises of shipbuilding, ship-repairing and port infrastructure.
For this reason the Association took a decision on supporting
the project “Water Transport of the South of Russia”.
The digest book gives the information on professional bodies and
mainsrteam enterprises of the industry. The catalogue of leading
companies of the industry provides a complete overview of the
port infrastructure of southern Russia, talks about shipbuilding,
ship repair, and ship equipment. Here are gathered the leading
educational and scientific centers of water transport in the south
of Russia, as well as health-care facilities.
The digest book will be a guide in the world of waterway transport,
which is rapidly developing nowadays and requires close attention
as the economically promising and the strategically important
sector of the country’s economy.
