“Yeniden doğmuş gibiyim”
Ameliyat sonrası ağrılarından kurtulduğunu dile getiren
Önser, “Şu an çok mutluyum. Çok rahat ağrısız bir şekilde
yürüyebiliyorum. Doktorumun ellerine sağlık, sıkıntılarım
bitti. Ameliyat olduktan sekiz saat sonra yürümeye
başladım. Daha rahat hareket etmeye başladım. Desteksiz
kalkabiliyorum, yürüyebiliyorum. Yeniden dünyaya gelmiş
gibi oldum.” dedi.
”I’m like reborn”
Expressing that she got rid of her postoperative pain,
Önser said, “I am very happy right now. I can walk very
comfortably and without pain. Health in my doctor’s hands,
my troubles are over. I started walking eight hours after
the surgery. I started to move more comfortably. I can get
up without support, I can walk. I felt like I was born again.”
”Not very common”
Underlining that performing both waist and neck surgeries
at the same time is not common in neurosurgery practice,
Op. Dr. Murat Düzgün said, “When our patient came to our
outpatient clinic, she had severe low back pain and pain
and weakness in his left leg, simultaneously neck pain,
pain and weakness radiating from his neck to his left arm.
We made examinations in line with the complaints of our
patient. We also evaluated MRI examinations and learned
that she also had a neck and lumbar hernia. Despite the
physical and medical treatments that our patient had
previously received, we decided to surgery because his
complaints never regressed and he was unable to walk due
to weakness in her foot. We evaluated this situation with
Ms. Mine and reported that we can perform both neck and
lumbar hernia simultaneously, with a surgical intervention
in the same session. Our patient also looked warmly at this
situation. This is not a common situation in neurosurgery
practice.”
“Micro surgery provides an advantage”
Stating that microsurgical methods (microdiscectomy)
used in waist and neck hernias provide a great advantage
after surgery, Düzgün said, “Neck and lumbar hernia
operations are performed with this method with a 1-1.5
cm skin incision with very little disruption of the anatomical
integrity. Since microscopes and microsurgical instruments
are used, the possibility of nerve damage is very low. The
duration of the operation is an hour on average. Patients
treated with these methods can be kept in the hospital for
a day and sent home. We cleaned the cervical hernia with
a microsurgical intervention from the front of the neck
of our patient. We intervened to the waist from the back
with a micro surgery method and cleaned the hernia there.
After staying at our hospital for one night, Miss Mine, her
pain and weakness disappeared. The pain in her neck and
weakness in her arm have been also disappeared.”
“Çok sık görülen bir durum değil”
Hem bel hem de boyun ameliyatlarının aynı anda
yapılmasının nöroşirürji pratiğinde çok sık görülmediğinin
altını çizen Op. Dr. Murat Düzgün, “Hastamız, bizim
polikliniğimize geldiğinde şiddetli bel ağrısı ve sol
bacağında ağrı ve güçsüzlük, eş zamanlı olarak da boyun
ağrısı, boynundan sol koluna yayılan ağrı ve güçsüzlük
mevcuttu. Hastamızın şikâyetleri doğrultusunda
tetkiklerini yaptık. MR tetkiklerini de değerlendirdik ve aynı
zamanda boyun ve bel fıtığına sahip olduğunu öğrendik.
Hastamızın daha öncesinde almış olduğu fizik ve medikal
tedavilere rağmen şikyetlerinin hiç gerilememesi ve
ayağındaki güçsüzlükten dolayı yürüyemez hala gelmesi
nedeniyle cerrahi kararı aldık. Mine Hanım ile bu durumu
değerlendirip hem boyun hem de bel fıtığını aynı anda eş
zamanlı, aynı seansta bir cerrahi girişimle yapabileceğimizi
bildirdik. Hastamız da bu duruma sıcak baktı. Bu nöroşirürji
pratiğinde çok sık gözüken bir durum değil.” dedi.
“Mikro cerrahi avantaj sağlıyor”
Bel ve boyun fıtıklarına kullanılan mikro cerrahi
yöntemlerinin (mikrodiskektomi) ameliyat sonrasında büyük
avantaj sağladığını belirten Düzgün, “Boyun ve bel fıtığı
ameliyatları bu yöntemle 1-1.5 cm cilt kesisi ile anatomik
bütünlük çok az bozularak yapılır. Mikroskop ve mikro
cerrahi aletleri kullanıldığı için sinir zedelenme ihtimali
çok düşüktür. Ameliyat süreleri ortalama bir saattir. Bu
yöntemlerle tedavi edilen hastalar bir gün hastanede
tutulup evine gönderilebilmektedir. Hastamızın boynunun
ön tarafından yaptığımız mikro cerrahi girişimle boyun
fıtığını temizledik. Beline de mikro cerrahi yöntemle arka
taraftan müdahale edip oradaki fıtığı temizledik. Mine
Hanım hastanemizde bir gece kaldıktan sonra, ağrısı ve
ayağındaki güçsüzlük ortadan kalktı. Boynundaki ağrı ve
kolundaki güçsüzlük de ortadan kalktı.” diye konuştu.
