by İZFAŞ and İZGİ Fuarcılık, Durak Tekstil<br />
aims to contribute to the growth of the Turkish<br />
textile and clothing industries and to increase its<br />
competitive power in the global market. Fashion<br />
Tech and the textile, ready-to-wear suppliers<br />
and technologies fair Fashion Prime will host<br />
their visitors simultaneously in the same area.<br />

Director Yiğit Durak drew attention to the importance<br />
of the first sectoral event to be held in<br />
İzmir after a long break due to the pandemic.<br />
Durak; “We believe that the Fashion Tech İzmir<br />
will be a platform for us to meet with manufacturers<br />
operating in the region and will contribute<br />
to the revival of the clothing and fashion<br />
industry, which has slowed down due to the<br />
pandemic. Important events of the textile and<br />
clothing industry have not been held for a year<br />
and a half due to the pandemic, and we feel<br />
the absence. We are very happy to support the<br />
resumption of these events, which enable the<br />
industry to meet and renew its strength”. Durak<br />
underlined that they are satisfied with the synergy<br />
and cooperation of local administrations<br />
and associations, especially İzmir Metropolitan<br />
Municipality Mayor Tunç Soyer and Aegean<br />

Turkey is a brand in textile<br />
Saying “Turkey is a brand in the global textile<br />
industry as a country”, Yiğit Durak reminded<br />
that Turkey is in a very competitive position with<br />
its production capacity, material and knowhow.<br />
Durak continued his words as follows; “The<br />
Turkish textile industry represents trust all over<br />
the world with its machinery, fabrics, materials<br />
and designed products. As Durak Tekstil, we<br />
have determined to increase the brand value<br />
of both our country and our company as the<br />
most important mission. We created our produ-<br />

nedeniyle gerçekleştirilemiyor ve bunun<br />
eksikliğini hissediyoruz. Sektörün buluşmasını<br />
ve güç tazelemesini sağlayan bu etkinliklerin<br />
tekrar başlamasına destek vermekten dolayı<br />
