Once the projectis finished in spring next year, its full capacitywill be between 30 and 45 thousand tonnes ofprocessed waste. The line constructed in Mariboris the first of this kind of private investment inthe country and represents an additional elementin the environmentally friendly section of theGorenje Group. Since November last year, JureFišer has been the director of this company with337 employees and in June this year, Surovinawas renamed and converted to Gorenje Surovina.Gorenje became the majority owner of Surovinathree years ago. Gorenje Surovina is now in 22locations throughout Slovenia and has a plantin Kosovo. Last year, the company’s total revenuewas EUR 42.8 million.
