“The main structure in the exhibition is scaffolding,
giving a feeling like an unfinished building covered by
a tarp. This analogy is used to represent the country of
Thailand in the way that the late King has reformed.
Even though the work is not complete, but we want the
participants to help build and continue what the late
King has laid the foundation.”

“I want to invite everyone to show their love through
the ‘Pictures of Dad’ exhibition. There are 99 pictures
total including drawings and photos from various people
in different fields. In terms of designing, the team follows
the late King’s speech regarding 3 main aspects: sufficiency,
thriftiness, and functionality. In this exhibition we select
materials that can be reused. For example, after the
display the photos will be distributed back to everyone,
thus shifting into ‘the photo in every house’.”
Talk ‘Light Sculpture’
Storytelling by Ajarn Songpot Saisueb, hostess of the Association of
Siamese Architects Faculty member, the Faculty of Architecture, Naresuan

“After the death of King Rama IX, Ajarn Burin
Tharavichitkun and Ajarn Karn Khamkaew, faculty members
at the Faculty of Architecture, Chiang Mai University,
have created a work to express their remembrance of
the late King through a sunlight sculpture. When light
casts a shadow of the sculpture onto the wall scene
everyday at 15.52 pm, the King’s face will appear. It’s a
symbol showing that the King has not left us, but he
rests in the sky, and the sunlight has brought him back
to us again. Join us to find the answer and discover the
work process and effort of this masterpiece.”

“This exhibition features small sections from inside
a house. We invite 12 designers to design 24 dwelling’s

houses in it and everything every homeowner would
want to know. Visitors can choose from 3 axes to view;
just walk around and view the 3-way information display.
One can view the houses from 3 perspectives, and the
information from the 3 viewpoints will be processed
into a 3-dimensional graph, projecting the construction
area, budget, and the look of the house.”

“This exhibition consists of 3 parts of technology,
construction and repair, robotics, and a VR world. The
first construction and repair section focuses on the use
of 3D technology for dwellings. The robotics part is
about using industrial robots in construction, and the
VR world is an important tool for better data access.”

“If you have been asked to think about home, it

They are fun and intrigue us to ponder.”
