ถนนเจริญกรุงเป็นเส้นทางที่มีความขัดแย้งกันเสมอ ถ้าคุณ<br />
มาเวลาเช้าหรือเย็นยํ่ำ บรรยากาศของถนนและสองข้างทางจะ<br />
ไม่มีทางเหมือนกัน ย้อนกลับไปในอดีต ถนนเจริญกรุงเป็นถนน<br />
สายแรกของกรุงเทพฯ ที่ใช้เทคนิคการสร้างแบบตะวันตก ถนน<br />
ที่ทอดยาวขยายตัวมาจากเขตวัง บริเวณเจริญกรุงสายต้นๆ จะ<br />
เป็นบ้านพักเจ้านายของบริษัทเอกชน โรงแรม ถ้าเลยมาถึงฝั่ง<br />
ถนนตกปลายสายจะเป็นแหล่งชุมชนของชาวบ้าน การนั่งรถเมล์<br />
สาย 1 ถนนตก–ท่าเตียน เป็นอีกหนึ่งวิธีลัดถ้าอยากรู้จักถนน<br />
เส้นนี้<br />
จากตลาดน้อย ปั่นจักรยานไปเรื่อยๆ จนถึงวัดราชบพิธฯ<br />
ที่นี่มีพระมหาเจดีย์เป็นแบบทรงกลมแปลกตา อินทีเรียด้านใน<br />
เป็นรูปแบบโกธิคสีทองคํากุฏิพระเป็นหินอ่อนที่สวยงามมาก<br />
ด้านหลังเป็นสุสานหลวง ต่อจากนั้นปั่นไปสวนสราญรมย์บางวัน<br />
วนข้ามไปสะพานพุทธ ซึ่งมีซีเคร็ตเพลสที่สวยงามรออยู่อีกฝั่ง<br />
แม่นํ้ำ นั่นคือ “อุทยานสมเด็จย่า” มีอาคารอนุรักษ์อดีตเรือนประทับ<br />
ของมเด็จพระศรีนครินทราบรมราชชนนีเส้นทางนี้ไป-กลับ รวม<br />
ระยะทาง 25 กิโลเมตร เป็นเส้นทางที่ปั่นทีไรก็มีความสุข<br />
มีคุณค่า และเพียงพอแล้วสําหรับวันหยุด<br />

Charoen Krung Road is a path with conflicts. If you<br />
come here in the morning or in the evening, the atmospheres<br />
of the road and of the road sides are not the same. In<br />
the past, Charoen Krung Road was the first road in<br />
Bangkok constructed using western techniques. The road<br />
stretches from the palace area. The first section is full<br />
of the houses of private company leaders and hotels.<br />
The zone near the end of Thanon Tok road is a community<br />
area for villagers. If you would like to get to know this road,<br />
take the bus number 1 Thanon Tok – Tha Tian as a short cut.<br />
From Talad Noi, she usually bikes until she reaches<br />
Wat Ratchabopit. Here stood a great stupa with a peculiar<br />
round shape and a golden gothic interior. The monks’<br />
cubicles are made of beautiful marbles. In the back is<br />
the royal cemetery. After that, she bikes to Saranrom<br />
Park. Some days she goes roundabout to the Memorial<br />
Bridge where a secret and beautiful place awaits on the<br />
other side of the river: the Princess Mother Memorial Park.<br />
There is a historic building which used to be where the<br />
Princess Srinagarindra stayed.<br />
The roundtrip of this route is 20 kilometers. It’s the<br />
route that makes us happy each time we bike. It’s precious<br />
and is enough for holidays.<br />
