Food Production Equipment”. These<br />
salons featured equipment made<br />

Complex Kft, Fenco, “Interagro”,<br />

More than 80 companies from Austria,<br />
Belgium, Hungary, Germany, Israel,<br />
Italy, Ireland, Latvia, Tajikistan, the<br />
Netherlands, Russia, Belarus, Slovakia,<br />
Poland and other countries participated<br />
in the Ingredients, Additives and<br />
Spices Salon. The geography of<br />
foreign participants expanded this<br />
year. For the first time, companies<br />
from the United Kingdom and France<br />
showcased their developments in the<br />
salon, while companies from India and<br />
China organized collective stands.<br />
Among the participants were Swiss<br />
flavours, “Acme”, “Ingredico”, VVKZ,<br />
“Promfood-S”, and new companies<br />
Campus SRL, Metroz Essences, Mane,<br />
Rovita, Omya Algol, “Bioproduct<br />
Soya”, “Ochakovskiy Food Ingredient<br />
Plant”, “VT Logistik”, “ND-tehnik”,<br />
“Ruskhimset”. The companies<br />
“Krist”, “Texpro” and Hydrosol (Stern)<br />
increased their exhibition area 1.5<br />
times. Among the returning companies<br />
were Tate & Lyle (UK), “Novaya Era”,<br />
“Aromadon”, “Dena-trade”, “Soyuzsnab”<br />
(Russia) and others.<br />
The Salon of Packaging Solutions<br />
featured the stands of over 120<br />
companies from 13 countries. The<br />
visitors met with key manufacturers<br />
and dealers from Italy, Germany, France,<br />
USA, UK, Austria, Czech Republic,<br />
Poland, China, Ukraine, Turkey and<br />
Belarus. Among the participants of the<br />
exhibition were Sealed Air, ECI Limited,<br />
“Tauras-Phoenix”, “Russkaya Trapeza”,<br />
“Merpasa”, Ishida Europe, Schur<br />
Flexibles Rus, “Camozzi Pneumatica”,<br />
“Ilapak”, “Bestrom”, “DPO-Plastic”,<br />
“Notice”, “Signal-Pak”, MIISP, “Zond<br />
Pak”. After a break, the exhibition saw<br />
the return of the key companies of<br />
the packaging industry – “Multivac”,<br />
“Freshpack Solutions”, “Prostor-K”,<br />
Klockner Pentaplast. Among the<br />
exhibitors were such world famous<br />
companies as Linde Gas, Tavil Inde, Ima<br />
Industries, Ilpra spa, Mespack, Ixapack<br />
and others.<br />
In addition to the traditional sections,<br />
the exhibition also featured such<br />
salons as “Refrigeration and Climate<br />
Control Equipment”, “Casings and<br />
Related Materials”, “Industrial<br />
Hygiene”, “Vegetable Oil and Sauce<br />
Production”, “Beverage Production<br />
Equipment”, “Storage Equipment.<br />
Logistics. Transport”, “Weighing<br />
Equipment. Measuring and Laboratory<br />
Equipment”, etc.<br />
“Agroprodmash-2016” exhibition<br />
featured the Expocentre for<br />
Counterfeit-Free Exhibition Project<br />
aimed at minimizing counterfeit<br />
products showcased at exhibitions.<br />
For the first time at the exhibition,<br />
Rossoyuzholodprom organized a<br />
Consultation Centre for Refrigeration<br />
Technologies. The participants and<br />
visitors of the Refrigeration and Climate<br />
Control Equipment Salon were consulted<br />
by the experts of Russian Union of the<br />
Refrigeration Industry Enterprises.<br />
In the Recruitment Centre, the<br />
specialized staffing agency “Afina”<br />
carried out more than 30 consultations<br />
a day. The employers had the<br />
opportunity to place their job ads,<br />
while the specialists submitted<br />
their resumes. The results of the<br />
Recruitment Centre’s work reflected<br />
the current labour market trends in<br />
the food industry. The pattern of the<br />
demand for specialists remained<br />
unchanged in 2016. The experienced<br />
process specialists in the field of food<br />
production, particularly in the field<br />
of meat processing continue to be<br />
most in demand in the food industry.<br />
However, as opposed to previous years,<br />
the demand for process specialists<br />
in cheese production is significantly<br />
higher. Furthermore, the demand<br />
for engineers, technical specialists,<br />
sales professionals with production<br />
technology expertise and food industry<br />
specific education, as well as for<br />
skilled workers continues to be high.<br />
The large business program included<br />
the following key topics of 2016:<br />
most relevant issues in meat industry,<br />
innovative solutions in dairy, baking<br />
and confectionery industries, fruit and<br />
vegetable processing, as well as the<br />
latest technologies in fish processing.<br />
“Agroprodmash-2016” exhibition also<br />
featured the Industry Meeting on<br />
Machine Building for the Food and<br />
Processing Industry, where Evgeniy<br />
Korchevoy, Director of the Department<br />
of Agricultural, Food, Construction<br />
and Road Engineering of Russian<br />
Ministry of Industry and Trade met the<br />
leading manufacturers of machines<br />
and equipment. The participants<br />
discussed the cooperation between<br />
the ministry and the representatives of<br />
production companies, as well as the<br />
relevant issues in the Machine Building<br />
Development Strategy for the Food and<br />
Processing Industry in Russia for the<br />
period until 2020.<br />
