presentation area, the fishing industry
experts learned about the suggestions
of many companies, such as OAO R&D

Marine Fisheries and Oceanography

95 companies from Italy, China,
the Netherlands, Russia, Germany,
Hungary, France, Norway, Bulgaria,
Serbia and other countries participated
in the salons of “Fruit and Vegetable
Processing Equipment” and “Canned
Food Production Equipment”. These
salons featured equipment made
by “Rusbana”, KRONEN GmbH
Nahrungsmitteltechnik, Boema
S.p.A., ООО NPKF “Flight-M”, Trading
Complex Kft, Fenco, “Interagro”,
“Appartek”, “Voploshenie”.
More than 80 companies from Austria,
Belgium, Hungary, Germany, Israel,
Italy, Ireland, Latvia, Tajikistan, the
Netherlands, Russia, Belarus, Slovakia,
Poland and other countries participated
in the Ingredients, Additives and
Spices Salon. The geography of
foreign participants expanded this
year. For the first time, companies
from the United Kingdom and France
showcased their developments in the
salon, while companies from India and
China organized collective stands.
Among the participants were Swiss
flavours, “Acme”, “Ingredico”, VVKZ,
“Promfood-S”, and new companies
Campus SRL, Metroz Essences, Mane,
Rovita, Omya Algol, “Bioproduct
Soya”, “Ochakovskiy Food Ingredient
Plant”, “VT Logistik”, “ND-tehnik”,
“Ruskhimset”. The companies
“Krist”, “Texpro” and Hydrosol (Stern)
increased their exhibition area 1.5
times. Among the returning companies
were Tate & Lyle (UK), “Novaya Era”,
“Aromadon”, “Dena-trade”, “Soyuzsnab”
(Russia) and others.
The Salon of Packaging Solutions
featured the stands of over 120
companies from 13 countries. The
visitors met with key manufacturers
and dealers from Italy, Germany, France,
USA, UK, Austria, Czech Republic,
Poland, China, Ukraine, Turkey and
Belarus. Among the participants of the
exhibition were Sealed Air, ECI Limited,
“Tauras-Phoenix”, “Russkaya Trapeza”,
“Merpasa”, Ishida Europe, Schur
Flexibles Rus, “Camozzi Pneumatica”,
“Ilapak”, “Bestrom”, “DPO-Plastic”,
“Notice”, “Signal-Pak”, MIISP, “Zond
Pak”. After a break, the exhibition saw
the return of the key companies of
the packaging industry – “Multivac”,
“Freshpack Solutions”, “Prostor-K”,
Klockner Pentaplast. Among the
exhibitors were such world famous
companies as Linde Gas, Tavil Inde, Ima
Industries, Ilpra spa, Mespack, Ixapack
and others.
In addition to the traditional sections,
the exhibition also featured such
salons as “Refrigeration and Climate
Control Equipment”, “Casings and
Related Materials”, “Industrial
Hygiene”, “Vegetable Oil and Sauce
Production”, “Beverage Production
Equipment”, “Storage Equipment.
Logistics. Transport”, “Weighing
Equipment. Measuring and Laboratory
Equipment”, etc.
“Agroprodmash-2016” exhibition
featured the Expocentre for
Counterfeit-Free Exhibition Project
aimed at minimizing counterfeit
products showcased at exhibitions.
For the first time at the exhibition,
Rossoyuzholodprom organized a
Consultation Centre for Refrigeration
Technologies. The participants and
visitors of the Refrigeration and Climate
Control Equipment Salon were consulted
by the experts of Russian Union of the
Refrigeration Industry Enterprises.
In the Recruitment Centre, the
specialized staffing agency “Afina”
carried out more than 30 consultations
a day. The employers had the
opportunity to place their job ads,
while the specialists submitted
their resumes. The results of the
Recruitment Centre’s work reflected
the current labour market trends in
the food industry. The pattern of the
demand for specialists remained
unchanged in 2016. The experienced
process specialists in the field of food
production, particularly in the field
of meat processing continue to be
most in demand in the food industry.
However, as opposed to previous years,
the demand for process specialists
in cheese production is significantly
higher. Furthermore, the demand
for engineers, technical specialists,
sales professionals with production
technology expertise and food industry
specific education, as well as for
skilled workers continues to be high.
The large business program included
the following key topics of 2016:
most relevant issues in meat industry,
innovative solutions in dairy, baking
and confectionery industries, fruit and
vegetable processing, as well as the
latest technologies in fish processing.
“Agroprodmash-2016” exhibition also
featured the Industry Meeting on
Machine Building for the Food and
Processing Industry, where Evgeniy
Korchevoy, Director of the Department
of Agricultural, Food, Construction
and Road Engineering of Russian
Ministry of Industry and Trade met the
leading manufacturers of machines
and equipment. The participants
discussed the cooperation between
the ministry and the representatives of
production companies, as well as the
relevant issues in the Machine Building
Development Strategy for the Food and
Processing Industry in Russia for the
period until 2020.
