Stabilized success from Sanofi<br />
Improving leading solution and<br />
treatment methods in diabetic<br />
area, with cooperation of Sanofi<br />
and Turkey’s Diabetes Foundation,<br />
the project contest entitled<br />
‘Discover to Facilitate Diabetes’ is<br />
being held in order to draw attention<br />
to diabetes among university<br />
students. When precaution is not<br />
taken, lifespan shortens between<br />
5 to 10 years; lots of projects<br />
have been produced by the students<br />
to raise awareness and to<br />
raise life quality of diabetics. Last<br />
year as the project entitled ‘Type<br />
2 Diabetes Risk Test’ was chosen<br />
as winner in ‘Institutional Social<br />
Responsibility’ category; ‘DiabetX<br />
Carbohydrate counter mobile application’<br />
in Service Category and<br />
‘Ditawatch’ in ‘Product Category’<br />
became deserved winners.<br />

directed towards Diabetic<br />
Individuals<br />
The university students will find<br />
opportunity about what is diabetes,<br />
life by viewpoint of diabetics,<br />
project management and presentation<br />
techniques by the specialist<br />
and experienced jury members<br />

The project development<br />
will be wanted from participants<br />
in 6 headlines directed towards<br />
needs of diabetics. In addition to<br />
the big award worth TL18 thousand,<br />
also internship opportunity<br />
will be presented to winning<br />
project.<br />

the students from Istanbul University,<br />
Çapa Medical Faculty, Koç<br />
University, Hacettepe University,<br />

of Trakya University, Samsun<br />
Ondokuz Mayıs University as well<br />
as enterprise clubs in the scope<br />
of the project contest ‘Discover to<br />
Facilitate Diabetes’. The foremost<br />
enterprise clubs will support the<br />
participant inventors and assume<br />
mentorship duty to be realized of<br />
winning projects.<br />
