In the summer months, millions of tourists come from Turkey and<br />
abroad to Bodrum which is known as a tourism paradise with its<br />
magnificent nature and unique bays and beaches. It is aimed to<br />
spread the tourism mobility to 12 months with the national and<br />
international sports events organized in winter in the district.<br />
Bodrum Hoteliers Association General Secretary Orhan Kavala<br />
said in his statement on the subject that many tourists from<br />
England, Netherlands, Russia, Belgium, France, and Germany came<br />
to the district last year. Kavala stated that they will attend various<br />
fairs in abroad in the year 2019; ''We participated in fairs in Italy,<br />
France and England. The developments for the newyear seem<br />
pretty good. In the long view, there are fairs in Holland, Berlin and<br />
Moscow. These are very large fairs.''<br />
CHEAP VACATION OPPORTUNITY<br />
Orhan Kavala indicated that Turkey become a popular country for<br />
foreign people and said: "The services we offer are much better<br />
than the rival countries. We have more potential, and we also offer<br />
cheap holiday opportunity. It is extraordinary that this service is<br />
provided in return for small amount of money. One of the factors<br />
that increase these numbers is the prices. The earnings of the rival<br />
countries for their services is more than ours.<br />
NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL<br />
ACTIVITIES IN WINTER MONTHS<br />
During the winter months, sailing races are also held in our<br />
district. Some of these races are national, some of them are<br />
international. This brings intense dynamism to Bodrum. There<br />
can be thousands of people participating in these competitions.<br />
Sporters participating in sailing races reach a serious number.<br />
This is a serious contribution to the Bodrum hotel sector. The areas<br />
in which competitions will be held are rich in Bodrum and they<br />
have a lot of options. As the numbers increase in an international<br />
area, Bodrum will begin to advertise its popularity all over Europe<br />
and the world."<br />
Giant bus terminal in Bodrum<br />
Muğla Metropolitan Municipality is making<br />
a giant bus terminal with a land price of 24<br />
million 600 thousand TL (Turkish Liras),<br />
the tender price of 45 million 548 thousand<br />
TL, and 4 million TL of solar energy<br />
panels. In short with a total investment of<br />
74 million TL…<br />
completed in Muğla Menteşe and obtained<br />
80 percent of its energy from the roof, the<br />
roof of the Bodrum Bus Terminal will also<br />
consist completely of solar panels.<br />
Being the first in the bus terminal, there<br />
will also be six electric car charging stations.<br />
With the transfer of the present bus<br />
station, which is in the district, to the out<br />
of the county town, it is planned to relieve<br />
the urban traffic to a great extent.<br />
The construction of the Bodrum Bus<br />
Terminal, which is planned to be obtained<br />
its energy from the solar panels on the<br />
roof, is <strong>17</strong> thousand 1<strong>17</strong> square meters. It<br />
has 21 intercity bus platforms, 45 minibus<br />
platform, 10 minibus store platform, the<br />
capacity of parking lot is 157 vehicles, the<br />
parking garage is designed for 19 vehicles<br />
and the disabled parking lot has 8 vehicles<br />
capacity. Like the Menteşe Intercity Bus<br />
Terminal, which its construction was<br />
