Tastes of Chinese cuisine are in Cappadocia<br />
Chinese restaurants in the Cappadocia<br />
region, visited by hundreds of thousands<br />
of Chinese tourists each year, offer its<br />
customers unique tastes that are suitable<br />
for their palate. After the announcement of<br />
2018 is the year of ''Turkey Tourism Year'',<br />
there has been a significant increase in the<br />
number of Chinese tourists coming to our<br />
country. Turkish and Chinese entrepreneurs,<br />
who are roll up their sleeves to turn this<br />
dense to an opportunity, opened the restaurants<br />
where various tastes were served.<br />
The Chinese, who visited Cappadocia<br />
which is on the UNESCO World Heritage<br />
List, while visiting the touristic centers all<br />
day long, they can find their own cuisine<br />
in four different Chinese restaurants<br />
that are in service in the town of Göreme.<br />
Shaun Li, who serves handmade pasta to<br />
his customers, which is indigenous to China,<br />
said in his statement to our magazine<br />
that he had been working in a restaurant in<br />
Istanbul for 12 years and he had opened his<br />
own business in Cappadocia after learning<br />
Turkish at an intermediate level, and added<br />
that they are making handmade pasta and<br />
glazed chicken, which are in great demand<br />
in China in ''fast food'' category for the<br />
Chinese tourists.<br />
"WE EXPECT TO SEE TURKS TOO"<br />
Shaun Li stated that Turkish customers<br />
have showed interest in pasta, and said the<br />
followings: "A few months ago, we opened a<br />
place of our own in Cappadocia. The Chinese<br />
like it very much. Sometimes Turkish people<br />
come but they just eat pasta. Our master<br />
prepares the pasta completely by his hand<br />
in front of the customers. We bring some<br />
spices from our country. We do Chinese food<br />
in Cappadocia and we expect to see Turks."<br />
CONSIDERABLE INTEREST ABOVE<br />
EXPECTATIONS<br />
Bekir Coşkun, the owner of another<br />
company, offering various tastes from the<br />
Chinese cuisine to the customers with the<br />
help of Chinese chefs, said that they were<br />
pleased with the interest in the sector.<br />
Coşkun stated that they considered to<br />
make such an investment for a lot of visitor<br />
come from China to Cappadocia and<br />
continued as follows: "We brought a cook<br />
from China to reflect their own kitchen.<br />
Customers' interest is well above our<br />
expectations. Tourists who have planned<br />
trips to Turkey, become very happy when<br />
they see a restaurant that makes foods<br />
from their own country in Cappadocia.<br />
It become a surprise for them. We also<br />
host citizens of other countries who like<br />
Chinese cuisine."<br />
Tour by vintage car among<br />
fairy chimneys<br />
Fairy chimneys in Cappadocia, which is Turkey's most important tourism<br />
centers, historic monasteries carved from rock, and valleys covered with<br />
natural rock formations became white after the snowfall with the arrival<br />
of the winter season.<br />
Giada Wang, a Chinese tourist traveling among the snow-covered fairy<br />
chimneys by a vintage car, stated that she came to Cappadocia for her<br />
Christmas holiday. Renting a classic vehicle she encountered in a business<br />
in the region, Wang said that she had been exploring Cappadocia,<br />
which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, and admired the region's<br />
historical, cultural and natural beauties.<br />
