Tastes of Chinese cuisine are in Cappadocia
Chinese restaurants in the Cappadocia
region, visited by hundreds of thousands
of Chinese tourists each year, offer its
customers unique tastes that are suitable

number of Chinese tourists coming to our
country. Turkish and Chinese entrepreneurs,

Shaun Li, who serves handmade pasta to
his customers, which is indigenous to China,
said in his statement to our magazine
that he had been working in a restaurant in
Istanbul for 12 years and he had opened his
own business in Cappadocia after learning
Turkish at an intermediate level, and added
that they are making handmade pasta and
glazed chicken, which are in great demand
in China in ''fast food'' category for the
Chinese tourists.
"WE EXPECT TO SEE TURKS TOO"
Shaun Li stated that Turkish customers
have showed interest in pasta, and said the
followings: "A few months ago, we opened a
place of our own in Cappadocia. The Chinese
like it very much. Sometimes Turkish people
come but they just eat pasta. Our master
prepares the pasta completely by his hand
in front of the customers. We bring some
spices from our country. We do Chinese food
in Cappadocia and we expect to see Turks."

EXPECTATIONS
Bekir Coşkun, the owner of another
company, offering various tastes from the
Chinese cuisine to the customers with the
help of Chinese chefs, said that they were
pleased with the interest in the sector.
Coşkun stated that they considered to
make such an investment for a lot of visitor
come from China to Cappadocia and
continued as follows: "We brought a cook
from China to reflect their own kitchen.
Customers' interest is well above our
expectations. Tourists who have planned
trips to Turkey, become very happy when
they see a restaurant that makes foods
from their own country in Cappadocia.
It become a surprise for them. We also
host citizens of other countries who like
Chinese cuisine."
Tour by vintage car among
fairy chimneys
Fairy chimneys in Cappadocia, which is Turkey's most important tourism
centers, historic monasteries carved from rock, and valleys covered with
natural rock formations became white after the snowfall with the arrival
of the winter season.
Giada Wang, a Chinese tourist traveling among the snow-covered fairy
chimneys by a vintage car, stated that she came to Cappadocia for her
Christmas holiday. Renting a classic vehicle she encountered in a business
in the region, Wang said that she had been exploring Cappadocia,
which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, and admired the region's
historical, cultural and natural beauties.
