時 間 編 織
諾 蘭 在 電 影 『 星 際 穿 越 』 中 呈 現 了 一 個
時 間 可 以 被 控 制 的 五 維 空 間 , 在 那 裏 『
時 間 』 的 形 状 看 起 來 像 個 巨 型 的 書 架 、
巨 型 的 織 布 機 可 以 被 任 意 查 找 、 翻 閱 、
撥 動 。 這 種 想 像 讓 人 大 開 眼 界 的 同 時 卻
也 心 存 猜 想 , 照 理 來 說 那 個 空 間 中 的 生
命 —— 對 人 來 講 如 神 一 样 樣 的 存 在 , 應 該
也 會 对 對 周 遭 事 物 的 存 在 形 式 有 更 美 好 的
要 求 吧 ?
當 時 間 能 夠 縱 橫 交 错 錯 成 為 可 視 的 經 緯
線 , 那 麼 它 是 不 是 也 可 以 被 編 織 成 各 種
形 態 呢 ? 甚 至 讓 我 們 大 膽 猜 測 , 若 有 情
感 可 視 的 六 維 空 間 , 那 裏 就 會 有 幸 福 的
時 光 , 它 們 顏 色 明 快 、 觸 感 細 膩 、 質 地
輕 然 ; 莊 重 的 時 光 則 表 现 現 出 色 澤 深 沈 、
觸 感 凜 冽 、 質 地 硬 朗 。 精 神 與 物 質 生 為
一 體 , 生 命 的 承 繼 與 歷 史 的 興 衰 不 再 僅
止 於 口 耳 相 傳 , 記 憶 可 以 被 隨 心 截 取 、
贈 予 ...... 當 然 那 裡 是 沒 有 鐘 錶 這 種 東 西
的 , 所 以 它 們 便 成 為 了 我 們 這 四 維 空 間
不 能 驾 駕 馭 時 間 之 生 命 的 『 特 產 』。 這 樣
想 想 , 不 免 覺 得 『 四 維 特 產 』 與 『 時 間
織 物 』 的 相 遇 突 然 變 得 有 趣 起 來 , 就 讓
我 們 一 起 來 做 個 異 想 天 開 的 影 像 實 驗
吧 。
In the movie "Interstellar", Nolan depicts a five
dimension world where time can be controlled. "Time"
takes the shape of huge book cases or gigantic looms, it
can be searched, skimmed through or shifted. This kind
of imagination, as much as it gives viewers great visual
effect, also holds a part of specualtion. In theory, the
life forms in that world are close to gods for humans,
so they also should have a greater expectation for the
beauty around them.
When time can cris-cross until it becomes a visible
network, then maybe it can be woven into a variety of
shapes? We could even wildly guess, if a six dimension
world could be perceived by our senses, there could be a
time of happiness, with bright colours, delicate textures
and light material. Times of gravity would bear dark
colours, sharp textures, and strong material. Spirit and
matter are born as one, the continuation of life and
the prosperity and downfall of history no longer only
rely on oral transmission, memory can be transported
or given at will... Of course, there are no such thing as
watches there, so they have become a “heirloom” of our
four dimension world, with beings unable to influence
time. Thinking thus, we can’t help but feel that the
meeting of a “Four dimension heirloom” and “ Time
loom” has suddenly become interesting. So let’s have
this imaginary experience!
