球 俱 樂 部 學 習 馬 球 的 初 學 者 , 先 在 教 室 裡 聽
講 解 馬 球 的 比 賽 規 則 , 然 後 到 室 外 學 習 站 在
地 上 用 短 球 桿 打 皮 球 , 再 上 機 器 木 馬 練 習 擊
球 動 作 , 也 會 有 機 會 上 馬 體 驗 , 還 可 以 踏 上
賽 格 威 電 動 平 衡 車 打 真 正 的 球 進 行 比 賽 呢 。
在 尚 蒂 伊 每 年 有 兩 次 賽 馬 盛 事 , 一 個 是
在 6 月 14 或 15 日 的 戴 安 娜 大 獎 賽 ( 戴 安 娜 是
主 掌 狩 獵 的 女 神 ), 是 三 歲 小 母 馬 的 選 拔
賽 , 同 時 又 有 優 雅 女 士 帽 子 大 賽 。 另 一 個
是 在 6 月 第 一 個 星 期 天 舉 辦 的 三 歲 小 公 馬 的
選 拔 賽 。
輕 鬆 遊 覽 尚 蒂 伊 城
賽 格 威 電 動 平 衡 車 , 時 速 20 公 里 , 是
非 常 容 易 學 的 一 種 交 通 工 具 , 五 分 鐘 之 內
可 以 上 路 。 雙 腳 踏 在 車 上 , 腳 下 不 用 費 力 ,
只 需 身 體 微 微 前 傾 , 車 子 就 平 穩 的 滑 動 , 即

使 上 坡 也 毫 不 費 力 。 走 在 泥 濘 和 坑 洼 地 面 如
履 平 地 , 沒 有 顛 簸 。 尚 蒂 伊 城 堡 、 跑 馬 場 、
馴 馬 道 …… 一 路 上 風 景 劃 過 眼 前 , 不 下 車 也
可 以 單 手 拍 攝 一 下 。 注 意 一 定 要 雙 腳 踏 在 車

在 尚 蒂 伊 城 裡 散 步 時 還 可 以 去 看 看 蕾 絲
博 物 館 , 十 七 世 紀 尚 蒂 伊 的 手 工 蕾 絲 是 專 門
提 供 皇 家 的 。 三 間 展 室 中 有 當 年 精 美 而 活 靈
活 現 的 手 工 編 織 蕾 絲 , 也 有 織 女 現 場 演 示 。
Pavillon de Manse 是 皇 家 園 藝 師 勒 諾 特
設 計 的 一 項 水 利 工 程 , 與 其 它 的 城 堡 花 園 的
工 程 不 一 樣 的 地 方 , 他 利 用 井 水 和 河 水 兩 種
水 源 , 源 源 不 斷 地 提 供 給 尚 蒂 伊 城 堡 的 花 園
噴 泉 瀑 布 。 現 在 這 裡 成 為 了 一 個 讓 人 們 了 解
十 七 世 紀 水 利 機 器 原 理 的 示 例 。
尚 蒂 伊 一 處 遊 覽 內 容 之 豐 富 , 完 全 值 得

the carp is tender inside and crispy outside, with seasoning
well impregnated, one can taste hazelnut butter flavor
and the taste of smoked fish. This forty-eight hours cooking
technique for the four step fresh carp is the exclusive recipe
of the chef Franck Charpentier, accompanied by refreshing
and fragrant raw spinach sprouts, April and May are the best
time to taste it.
The four-star hotel Dolce Chantilly, has a golf course. In the
morning, breathing the fresh air, listening to the birds chirping,
facing the light morning breeze, Golf is a cosy and relaxed activity
to play with family, friends or business partners.
Behind the Dolce Chantilly hotel, you find the most famous
polo school in France - L’Ecole de Polo du Domaine
de Chantilly. Courses are given for all levels. For beginners,
they start with an indoor session where the rules of the
game are explained, and then they would stand outside to
practice hitting a ball with short bats, they could also use
a mechanical horse to practice swinging movements, or
experience it on horseback. You can also experience a real
polo game on a Segway vehicle.
Every year, two race events take place in Chantilly. The Grand
Prix de Diane (goddess of hunting), sometimes referred to as
the “French Oaks”, is held around the 14th or 15th June, it
honors the best three-year old filly. It is the gathering place of
chic and distinction, especially with the elegance contest rewarding
the lady with the best hat and look. Another race, the
Prix du Jockey-Club takes place two weeks before, on the first
Sunday of June. It honors the best three-year-old colt.
What are the places to visit in the town of
Chantilly?
Speaking of Segway electric vehicles, with its 20 kilometers
per hour, it is a very easy to learn way of transportation,
you can take the road in five minutes. With your
two feet firmly set in the car, without effort, you only
have to lean slightly forward for the Segway to start
sliding smoothly, even going uphill it is not difficult.
Muddy road, or bumpy fields all feel like flat road. Along
the way, Chantilly castle, the racecourse, the horses, the
scenery, you can film everything with one hand without
getting off the vehicle. You must be careful to keep both
feet on it though, if you lift one foot by excess of confidence,
a blue-light alarm will beep.
Walking through the city of Chantilly, one can also
wander towards the museum of Chantilly Lace. In the
seventeenth century, the handmade lace of Chantilly
were exclusively dedicated to royal use. In the three
galleries of this museum, the refined and lively works
of yore are exposed and a lacemaker would provide a
live demonstration.
Pavillon de Manse shelters hydraulic works designed by
royal gardener Le Nôtre. Unlike the water works in the
gardens of other castles, it used two water sources, from
the river and from the well, providing fountains and
waterfalls of the garden with a continuous flow. Nowadays
the machine is used as an example of seventeenth
century engineering, exposing principles of hydraulic
equipment.
A trip to Chantilly offers such a variety of activities,
people can go to relax, to enjoy the scenery or the art
collection, watching horse races or techniques, play golf,
try polo, drive a Segway ... Making it worthwhile for visitors
to plan a one to three days visit, which could still
be insufficient to experience everything!
