Researcher studied <strong>the</strong> <strong>role</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g</strong> <strong>in</strong> rais<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> <strong>efficiency</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>performance</strong><br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>public</strong> <strong>sector</strong> <strong>employees</strong>، a case study on <strong>the</strong> M<strong>in</strong>istry <strong>of</strong> Social Affairs - Deputy<br />
M<strong>in</strong>istry for social security branches، social security <strong>of</strong>fices <strong>in</strong> Al-Baha area. <strong>The</strong><br />
problem addressed <strong>in</strong> this study is that: most government <strong>sector</strong>s face significant<br />
shortfall <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g</strong> process for <strong>the</strong>ir <strong>employees</strong> and <strong>tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g</strong> may be limited<br />
certa<strong>in</strong> adm<strong>in</strong>istrative levels without <strong>the</strong> o<strong>the</strong>rs. Researcher has used <strong>the</strong><br />
descriptive analytical method to describe <strong>the</strong> phenomenon under study. Researcher<br />
also used data <strong>of</strong> various <strong>in</strong>terviews، observations and exam<strong>in</strong>ation <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> records<br />
with total sample <strong>of</strong> forty subjects distributed over branches <strong>of</strong> social security<br />
<strong>of</strong>fices <strong>in</strong> Al-Baha area. <strong>The</strong> most important result obta<strong>in</strong>ed was <strong>the</strong> approval <strong>of</strong> all<br />
members <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> research sample on <strong>the</strong> <strong>role</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g</strong> <strong>in</strong> <strong>in</strong>creas<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong>ir<br />
<strong>efficiency</strong> and <strong>the</strong> improvement <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir <strong>performance</strong>. <strong>The</strong> ma<strong>in</strong> recommendations<br />
were: <strong>the</strong> need to l<strong>in</strong>k promotions، foreign missions and some types <strong>of</strong> <strong>in</strong>centives<br />
and rewards to <strong>the</strong> staff <strong>tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g</strong> record <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> m<strong>in</strong>istry. <strong>The</strong> study also<br />
recommended <strong>the</strong> grant<strong>in</strong>g <strong>of</strong> f<strong>in</strong>ancial <strong>in</strong>centives for tra<strong>in</strong>ees who pass some<br />
<strong>tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g</strong> programs with merit.<br />
