Installation<br />
Connecting console devices<br />

DVI/VGA Out 1: Connect the first console monitor.<br />
DVI/VGA Out 2: Connect the second console monitor.<br />
Micro In: Connect the console microphone (optional).<br />
Speaker: Connect the console speakers (optional).<br />
NOTE: Console keyboard and console mouse can be connected to the user module’s<br />
USB or PS/2 interfaces.<br />
Keyb./Mouse: Connect the console’s USB keyboard and/or USB mouse.<br />
Keyb.: Connect the console’s PS/2 keyboard.<br />
Mouse: Connect the console’s PS/2 mouse.<br />
LED Out: Connect the optionally available TradeSwitch-LED (optional).<br />
Connection to the central module<br />

Transmission 1: Use a category 5e (or better) twisted pair cable to connect this interface<br />
to one of the central module’s Dynamic Ports that is configured to connect a user<br />
module.<br />
NOTE: Note the instructions in the paragraph Connecting user modules to the central<br />
module provided in the installation guide of the matrix switch.<br />
NOTE: You can establish a direct connection between a target and a user module.<br />
Use a category 5e (or better) crossover cable to connect the modules.<br />
Transmission 2: Use a category 5e (or better) twisted pair cable to connect this interface<br />
to one of the central module’s Dynamic Ports that is configured to connect a user<br />
module.<br />
