Installation<br />
Connecting console devices<br />
Transmission<br />
LED Out<br />
Keyb.: Connect the PS/2 keyboard of the local console.<br />
Mouse: Connect the PS/2 mouse of the local console.<br />
User module »DVI-CON«<br />
NOTE: Both keyboard and mouse signals can be transmitted to the computer using<br />
the PS/2 or the USB interfaces.<br />
Keyb./Mouse: Connect the USB keyboard and/or USB mouse of the local console.<br />
NOTE: You can also combine PS/2 and USB devices, for example by connecting a<br />
USB mouse and a PS/2 keyboard.<br />
DVI/VGA Out: Connect the monitor of the local console.<br />
Micro In: Connect the optional microphone of the local console.<br />
Speaker: Connect the optional speakers of the local console.<br />
Connection to the central module<br />
Transmission: Use a category 5e (or better) twisted pair cable to connect the Transmission<br />
interfaces of the individual user modules to a Dynamic Port, which has been configured<br />
for connecting a user module.<br />
NOTE: Note the instructions in the paragraph Connecting user modules to the central<br />
module provided in the installation guide of the matrix switch.<br />
NOTE: You can establish a direct connection between a target and a user module.<br />
Use a category 5e (or better) crossover cable to connect the modules.<br />
