<strong>Installation</strong> instructions<br />
Connection<br />
For installation, the connection space must be made accessible.<br />
- In order to remove the front panel b, you must unscrew the<br />
screws 1. The front panel can then be removed by pulling it<br />
downwards.<br />
Mixing battery for hot <strong>and</strong> cold water<br />
To connect the water hoses supplied with the appliance to the customer<br />
connections, they must first be disconnected from the mixing battery.<br />
To avoid confusion: disconnect <strong>and</strong> reconnect the water hoses one after<br />
the other.<br />
If the water hoses are too long after they have been connected,<br />
=<br />
it must be ensured that they cannot come into contact with any<br />
live parts: to compensate for the excessive length only use the<br />
space between the pan <strong>and</strong> the left wall of the appliance!<br />
Filling the steam generator<br />

Before putting the appliance into operation, fill the steam<br />
generator with a sufficient amount of drinking water<br />
(see page 35)!<br />
Mounting the discharge tap<br />
Mount the safety discharge tap onto the discharge pipe <strong>and</strong> secure with<br />
a hexagon screw.<br />
Electrics<br />
The connection box is accessible from the front. It is located on the<br />
right behind the middle front panel.<br />
Connect the appliance as shown in the applicable wiring diagram.<br />
The connection cable leading through the appliance must be fully<br />
=<br />
sheathed from the connection point up to the entrance to the<br />
terminal box!<br />
The number of the applicable wiring diagram is on the appliance<br />
identification plate (see page 2).<br />
The wiring diagrams for the basic version are part of these instructions.<br />
Wiring diagrams for special versions are provided in the connection<br />
space of the appliance.<br />
Compare the numbers of the wiring diagrams with the appliance<br />
identification plate. For special versions keep the wiring diagrams with<br />
these instructions <strong>and</strong> identify the wiring diagrams which do not apply<br />
accordingly!<br />
☞ Activate the protection-against-boiling-dry function by pressing<br />
the button on the left side of the electrical connector box.<br />
