Gas
Adjustment
During new installation or conversion to another gas type, gas
consumers must be set to, or checked for, the rated heat load in
accordance with national and/or regional codes, e.g., in Germany:
DVGW TRGI or TRF, this work to be done by contract installation firms,
conversion firms, maintenance firms or gas utility firms.
In order to control heat input the following checks are necessary:
Gas connection must be carried out by a qualified gas fitter in
=
accordance with the locally applicable regulations.
If changing to other types of gas, be absolutely certain to observe
=
the relevant instructions!
All gas pipes and connections must be checked using suitable
=
instruments to ensure that there is no leakage!
- The appliance is designed for a maximum operating pressure of
50 millibar. The connection terminal should be checked for signs of
leakage at a maximum pressure of 150 millibar. The fittings must
not be operated during this check. Checking of present type of gas
against specification on appliance.
- Check the connection pressure.
Function check
- Check the connection pressure (flow pressure): connect pressure
meter to pressure measuring nipple 4 on burner nozzle assembly.
Switch on the burners and check whether the permitted connection
pressure is maintained.
After measurement, close the sealing screw of the pressure
=
measurement nipple again.
- Before the gas is lit for the first time, there will be air in the pipes.
For this reason ignition will take a little time. If LED display „gas
fault“ comes on, acknowledge message by pressing the according
key.
- Check for ignition, cross-lighting and flame stability.
Fill the appliance with the minimum amount of water. Set a low target
temperature (see operating instructions) and observe the adjustment.
Shortly before reaching the target temperature, the pan switches to the
simmering level (low energy consumption). After reaching the target
temperature the control switches off (heating display is extinguished).
For subsequent heating, first of all the simmering level is activated. In
case of larger temperature differences the appliance is set to maximum
output. If this is not the case, check the installation.
Then set the target temperature as required (see operating
instructions).
Mounting the company label
After carrying out a function check of the appliance the company label
must be mounted.
