So naturalistisch, dass man meint, ihren Duft wahrzunehmen,<br />
entfaltet ein üppiges Bukett weißer Rosen auf der Schlossvase seine<br />
ganze Pracht.<br />
Die gewölbte Form verstärkt die plastische Wirkung des raffinierten<br />
Arrangements. Kleine purpurfarbene Blüten und Schattierungen im<br />
Innern der Rosen setzen Akzente und verleihen dem Dekor seine<br />
Tiefe: großartige impressionistische Blumenmalerei, die im <strong>MEISSEN</strong> ® -<br />
Naturalismus um 1900 ihren Höhepunkt hatte. Der ruhige, sanfte<br />
Ockerton des Hintergrunds betont die Lebhaftigkeit der Rosen, die in<br />
allen Stadien von der Knospe bis zur vollen Blüte gezeigt werden.<br />
Besonders zart und detailreich sind sie mit feinen Pinselstrichen auf<br />
farbigem Fond aufgetragen. Üppige Goldornamente rahmen das<br />
barocke Schild. Und Knauf und Ränder des Gefäßes sind mit Gold<br />
staffiert – ganz wie es der Königin der Blumen gebührt.<br />
An ample bouquet of white roses unfolds its full glory so authentically<br />
on a Palace Vase it almost seems possible to smell its fragrance.<br />
The vessel’s rounded shape heightens the sculptural quality of the<br />
inspired arrangement. Small purple petals and patches of shadow within<br />
the roses create points of focus and instil depth into the pattern, an<br />
excellent form of impressionist flower painting that was at its height<br />
during the naturalist phase at <strong>MEISSEN</strong> ® in around 1900.<br />
The gentle, tranquil ochre of the ground emphasises the vibrancy of<br />
the roses, which are depicted in all stages of development from bud to<br />
fully-open flower head. The design has been applied to the coloured<br />
ground with delicate brush strokes and a wealth of intricate detail.<br />
Sumptuous ornamental gilding frames a Baroque cartouche. And the<br />
vessel’s finial and rims are coloured in gold – fully in keeping with the<br />
Queen of Flowers.<br />
