Auf der Schwelle zur Pubertät wird Jonas von
seiner Liebe zur Musik auf Abwege außerhalb
seines vertrauten Kinderzimmers geführt. Leise
durchquert der Zuschauer mit Jonas den verwirrend
neuen Kosmos der Pubertät, in dem die
Musik der Halt bietende Anker ist.
On the verge of adolescence, Jonas’ newly
discovered passion for music leads him astray
from his protected childhood surroundings and
into the unknown ventures of puberty. Alongside
Jonas, the viewer subtly crosses this puzzling
cosmos, with music being the guiding star.

Blätter fallen, Wind kommt auf und Vögel
sammeln sich, um gemeinsam nach Süden zu
ziehen. Es ist Herbst und der Winter steht kurz
bevor, doch ein Vogel will all das nicht wahr
haben.
Leaves are falling all around, colder winds are
coming and the birds are gathering together
in preparation for the journey south. Though
autumn is at an end and winter is imminent,
one bird refuses to accept that this change is
happening.

Henry bekommt nachts einen Anruf. Seine Frau
Claire ist am anderen Ende der Welt am Strand
eines Hotels. Sie ist betrunken und ein fremder
Mann ist bei ihr. Eine außereheliche Affäre oder
ihr Leben in Gefahr? Henry versucht alles, um
die Kontrolle über das Geschehen zurück zu
gewinnen.
Henry picks up the phone at night. His wife is
on the other side of the world on a beach, drunk
and apparently with another man. In the frantic
calls that follow, is it his marriage, his wife or his
sanity that is most under threat? All Henry can
do is hang up the phone.

Eduard und Sabine, beide Mitte vierzig, verbringen
ihren Sommerurlaub an der französischen
Atlantikküste. Sabine weist Eduard in seinen
körperlichen Bedürfnissen zurück. Als sie
gemeinsam in einem Modeladen auf die junge
Michelle treffen, nutzt Eduard seine Gelegenheit
zur Rache.
Eduard and Sabine are on holidays together but
their relationship is shaky. When they encounter
young Michelle in a bathing suit shop, Eduard
uses the girl to get his revenge.

In den 1970er Jahren untersuchten Wissenschaftler
in New York die Auswirkungen von
Kinderkarussellen auf die Lernkurve von Vierjährigen.
Das Ergebnis war derart überraschend,
dass man am Institute for Centrifugal Research
in Florida damit begann, immer größere und
stärkere Geräte zu bauen.
In the 1970s, New York scientists studied the
effects of carousels on the learning curve of four
year olds. The results were so surprising that
the Institute of Centrifugal Research in Florida
started to construct a series of devices to test the
effects on adults.
Till Nowak born 1980 has run
his own frameboX studio since
1999; he is based in Hamburg;
his animated short “Delivery”
(2005) brought him international
attention by winning more then 35 awards,
including the PRIX UIP, Annecy, and at the AFI
FEST Hollywood
