Autorinnen und Autoren 269Nicholas John is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department <strong>of</strong> Communication <strong>and</strong> Journalismat the Hebrew University <strong>of</strong> Jerusalem. His research interests include new media <strong>and</strong>the interface between technology <strong>and</strong> society. He is currently writing a book that exploresthe concept <strong>of</strong> sharing across a range <strong>of</strong> social locations, including the internet, sharingeconomies, <strong>and</strong> the therapeutic narrative.Magnus Lawrie is a graduate student at Edinburgh College <strong>of</strong> Art, University <strong>of</strong> Edinburgh.He is the recipient <strong>of</strong> the ELMCIP PhD studentship. Since completing a BA (Hons)in fine art <strong>and</strong> an MFA in public art, he has been involved in groups concerned with frees<strong>of</strong>tware <strong>and</strong> self-organizing practice. This has involved hackspaces <strong>and</strong> free media labs inScotl<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> elsewhere in Europe. He was active in establishing the Chateau Institute <strong>of</strong>Technology <strong>and</strong> the Electron Club in Glasgow.Ronald Maier, PhD, Pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong> Information Systems at the School <strong>of</strong> Management,University <strong>of</strong> <strong>Innsbruck</strong>, Austria. He has published articles on knowledge management(systems) in a number <strong>of</strong> research journals, books <strong>and</strong> conference proceedings. His researchinterests include data management <strong>and</strong> business intelligence, flexible <strong>and</strong> adaptivebusiness processes, knowledge management <strong>and</strong> technology enhanced learning.Claudia Paganini, geboren 1978 in <strong>Innsbruck</strong>, drei Kinder. Studium der Theologie undPhilosophie in <strong>Innsbruck</strong> und Wien. Dissertation sub auspiciis praesidentis im BereichKulturphilosophie. Im Studienjahr 2010/11 Karenzvertretung an der Christlichen Philosophiein <strong>Innsbruck</strong>. Sie ist derzeit Erika-Cremer-Stipendiatin und arbeitet an einer Habilitationzur Medienethik.Julia Rone is a researcher at the Department <strong>of</strong> Theory <strong>and</strong> History <strong>of</strong> Culture, S<strong>of</strong>ia University“St. Kliment Ohridski”. Her work focuses on the intersections <strong>of</strong> visual culture,new media, <strong>and</strong> nationalism. She has been a coordinator <strong>of</strong> the 3-year project ‘New Youth,New Media, New Causes’, <strong>and</strong> has participated in such projects as ‘New Mobilizations’<strong>and</strong> ‘Media Monitoring Lab’ with analyses <strong>of</strong> video social networks.
