during the course of Europe’s leading digital conference,<br />
dld (digital life design), held in munich in early 2009,<br />
bene presented the new Filo line, which was designed by<br />
EooS. in this intelligent system for meetings and conferences,<br />

permitting the elegant exterior to shine. With their<br />
coffice lounge line, bene show how comfortable and uncomplicated<br />
networked offices can be. through such innovative<br />
lines, bene demonstrate their leadership role as a driving<br />

a smooth connection between digital worlds and real places<br />
constitutes an important basis for corporate success.<br />
Eferding’s HALI Büromöbel GmbH, undisputed number<br />
two on the austrian officefurniture market, have great<br />
(international) potential too. their distribution network in<br />
austria is solid, and in the future, hali will increasingly<br />
focus on international markets mainly in Eastern European<br />
countries, with russia as the main focus. Furthermore,<br />
there have been inquiries from other central and Eastern<br />
European countries, where an increasing number of excellent<br />
opportunities can be found.<br />
the export objectives are clear: by 2012, half of hali’s<br />
sales revenue will be generated on international markets. in<br />
the same way as in munich, Stuttgart, moscow and london,<br />
hali want to be present in the trendy neighbourhoods<br />
of other economic centres and position the company<br />
accordingly. inhouse developments in design,<br />
continuity from one product to the next, and increased<br />
positioning through house brands are the multipliers for<br />
future international markets. in the 2007/08 fiscal year, 370<br />
employees generated sales of 58.9 mn euros, a 12% increase<br />
from the previous year.<br />
Since the 1970s, rapid development has marked the<br />
company history of Blaha, which developed from a manufacturer<br />
of chairs and other furniture for sitting to a hightech<br />
officefurniture supplier that offers justintime delivery<br />
and extensive advice. the principles of ergonomics<br />
have always been a central concern: all employees in the<br />
areas of office planning and furnishings receive continuous<br />
training with regard to ergonomic and legal aspects and are<br />
certified workplace experts or certified office planners. in<br />
2004, the new design options product and service area was<br />
developed. according to the motto “create your own office”,<br />
complete custom officefurniture solutions were realised<br />
in collaboration with experts. all aspects from design<br />
and materials to colours, forms and organisation could be<br />
specified separately, and every requirement, from companyspecific<br />
work processes to the company’s ci, was inclu<br />

Seit den 1970erjahren prägt eine rasante Entwicklung<br />
die Firmengeschichte der Firma Blaha, die sich vom Sitzmöbelproduzenten<br />

justintimelieferung und umfassender beratung entwickelt<br />
hat. Ein zentrales unternehmensanliegen waren<br />
schon immer Ergonomiegrundsätze: Sämtliche mitarbeiter<br />
im bereich der büroplanung und einrichtung werden kontinuierlich<br />
hinsichtlich ergonomischer und rechtlicher<br />
aspekte geschult und sind geprüfte arbeitsplatzexperten<br />
oder geprüfte büroplaner. 2004 entstand der neue produkt<br />
und dienstleistungsbereich „designoptionen“. Nach dem<br />
motto „create your own office“ werden im koordinierten<br />
Zusammenwirken von Experten komplett individuelle büromöbellösungen<br />
verwirklicht. alle aspekte von design und<br />
materialien über Farben und Formgebung bis zur organisation<br />
sind individuell spezifizierbar, alle anforderungen von<br />
firmenspezifischen arbeitsprozessen bis zur unternehmensci<br />
sind eingebunden. gab es in der Vergangenheit schon<br />
anspruchsvolle projekte mit externen designern wie rené<br />
chavanne (adolfloosStaatspreisträger für design 2005),<br />
wurde 2007 ein eigenes designteam ins leben gerufen.<br />
das blahaKonzept eines wissensbasierten, technologieorientierten<br />
unternehmens wird weiter ausgebaut und über<br />
die bisherigen fachlichen und räumlichen grenzen aus<br />
Blaha have completed demanding projects with other designers such as René<br />
Chavanne and, in 2007, formed their own inhouse design team.<br />
Blaha hat schon früher anspruchsvolle Projekte mit externen Designern wie<br />
