awarded the coveted cradle to cradle certificate<br />
in gold: rEturNity ® , the world’s first<br />
fabric made from flameretardant trevira cS,<br />
which can be fully recycled. thanks to a special<br />
chemical and ecological optimisation<br />
process developed by backhausen over the<br />
course of two years, the legendary trevira cS<br />
fabric has been transformed into a hundredpercent<br />
recyclable material.<br />
at the end of its long product life, the fabric<br />
can be returned to backhausen and gets completely<br />
recycled: “returnity” begins a new<br />
life as a completely different product, without<br />
leaving residuums the circle of conversion<br />
continues smoothly. ❚<br />
