Its main activities are: 1. Financing the reconstruction and development of the economy; 2. Financing infrastructure; 3. Promoting exports; 4. Promoting SME’s; 5. Environmental protection, energy efficiency and renewable energy resources; 6. Export credit insurance of Croatian goods and services against non-market risks. Credit rating: • Baa3 by Moody`s • BBB by Standard & Poor`s HBOR gives special attention to establishing and maintaining successful relations with international financial institutions, development banks, export credit agencies and commercial banks. HBOR maintains a wide network of correspondent and current account relations and can offer customary instruments of foreign exchange transactions to its clients. HBOR participates in the financing of the process aimed at creating Croatia’s export products from production preparation to the payment of an export transaction. Confirming its role as Croatia’s export bank and export credit agency, HBOR has signed Memorandums of Understanding with leading export banks and export credit agencies with the aim of improving co-operation on joint entry into third markets and increasing the quality of support for Croatian exporters. New insurance company for marketable risks has been established by HBOR & OekB Sudosteuropa GmbH and has been operating since 1 September 2010. With the objective of environmental protection, natural resources protection and sustainable development, HBOR participates in the implementation of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

In doing so, our most important resources are the use of our own development, knowledge and human potential in combination with the world technological and marketing achievements. In 2001 HS Product d.o.o. concluded a long-term distribution contract with Springfield Inc. – one of the famous and oldest American company for weapon production and distribution. Springfield Inc. has been distributing our pistol in the US market under the name of XD (Xtreme Duty). The best proof of its quality is the fact that this pistol was declared the pistol of the year in the U.S.A. in 2003, 2006 and 2009 by the NRA – National Rifle Association. In view of the above mentioned, HS Produkt d.o.o. exports almost its entire production (95%) to the US market. HS Produkt is leading supplier in the Croatian market, supplying the Ministry of the Interior, Ministry of Justice, Customs Administration, security-services agencies as well as civilians. The Company’s constant growth is based on the development of new products and investments in new technologies. Recently HS Produkt started with the serial production of the newly developed assault rifle and first batch is already delivered to Croatian Ministry of Defense. Today, HS Produkt d.o.o is one of the biggest pistol producer in the world. Our aim is to remain the leading supplier in the US market as well as to make a breakthrough in all major markets in the world. 57
