DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES:<br />
Zagreb School <strong>of</strong> Economics and Management (ZSEM) is a private accredited school. It was established<br />
under the Law on Higher Education, in order to provide students the best education that is equal to the one<br />
from the world’s best schools. Dean <strong>of</strong> the school is Đuro Njavro, Ph.D.<br />
The mission <strong>of</strong> ZSEM is to transfer values, knowledge and skills that students need for long-term success in a<br />
globalized business world undergoing constant technological and market transformations.<br />
ZSEM <strong>of</strong>fers a four year undergraduate program in economics and management (240 ECTS), one year<br />
specialized MBA graduate program (60 ECTS) and Executive Education programs.<br />
According to the Eduniversal research, Zagreb School <strong>of</strong> Economics and Management (ZSEM) was declared<br />
as the best business school in the Republic <strong>of</strong> Croatia for 2008 and 2009.<br />
ZSEM is the first institution in Croatia which became a member <strong>of</strong> the AACSB, and entered into a very demanding<br />
process <strong>of</strong> getting full accreditation <strong>of</strong> the AACSB.<br />
AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools <strong>of</strong> Business - is an international nonpr<strong>of</strong>it<br />
association that brings together educational institutions, companies and other organizations that have<br />
the task <strong>of</strong> promoting and improving higher education in the field <strong>of</strong> business administration and management.<br />
In the world only 5% <strong>of</strong> the top business schools are accredited by AACSB.
