The Center for Oral History houses <strong>the</strong> collection “<strong>Holocaust</strong> Survivors <strong>in</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> Connecticut Region,” which conta<strong>in</strong>s 24 <strong>in</strong>terviews (refer to above<br />

website for a list of names of <strong>in</strong>terviewees). A collection entitled<br />

“Witnesses to Nuremburg: An Oral History of American Participation at<br />

<strong>the</strong> War Crimes Trial” may also conta<strong>in</strong> relevant material.<br />

The conference program “<strong>Holocaust</strong> Program 1992” <strong>in</strong>cludes <strong>in</strong>terviews<br />

with <strong>Holocaust</strong> survivors Ruth H. Klemens and Simon Konover, while<br />

“<strong>Holocaust</strong> Program 1993” conta<strong>in</strong>s <strong>in</strong>terviews with Henry Levy and<br />

The focus of <strong>the</strong> 95,000 volume collection, which <strong>in</strong>cludes manuscripts and rare<br />

books, is biblical, classical, medieval, and modern periods of <strong>Jewish</strong> literature and<br />

history, and supports <strong>the</strong> research needs of <strong>the</strong> faculty and students of <strong>the</strong><br />

University’s Judaic Studies Program and those of <strong>the</strong> broader academic<br />

The Fortunoff Video Archive for <strong>Holocaust</strong> Testimonies, a part of <strong>the</strong><br />

<strong>Manuscript</strong>s and Archives department of Sterl<strong>in</strong>g Memorial Library, conta<strong>in</strong>s<br />

over 4,200 <strong>in</strong>terviews with witnesses and survivors. The personal papers of<br />

Yiddish writer Sholem Asch also conta<strong>in</strong> relevant material, as Asch’s concern for<br />
