The Suzanne Statland Collection <strong>in</strong> <strong>Holocaust</strong> Studies documents <strong>the</strong> impact of<br />
<strong>the</strong> rise and reign of Nazism, and <strong>the</strong> ensu<strong>in</strong>g <strong>Holocaust</strong>. The collection perta<strong>in</strong>s<br />

of Jews from Nazi-occupied Europe and relief efforts after <strong>the</strong> war. Included are<br />
many sets of personal papers, as well as relevant <strong>in</strong>formation about rescue<br />
organizations such as <strong>the</strong> Orthodox Vaad Hatzala or Children’s Salvation, Inc., an<br />
organization devoted to locat<strong>in</strong>g <strong>Jewish</strong> children liv<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> non-<strong>Jewish</strong> homes<br />
follow<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> <strong>Holocaust</strong> and re-establish<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong>m <strong>in</strong> a <strong>Jewish</strong> environment.<br />
