Different portions of data from<br />
a single device can be mapped<br />
to separate <strong>1747</strong>-SDN memory<br />
locations. For example,<br />
“On/Off” values can be mapped<br />
to one location, diagnostic<br />
values to another, etc. This is<br />
known as “map segmenting”.<br />
