<strong>DeviceNet</strong> via a DH+<br />
Network<br />

Before performing this example the DH+ network must be configured<br />
and running. This example uses a <strong>SL</strong>C 5/04 processor. The <strong>SL</strong>C 5/04<br />
processor lets you operate DH+ communication protocol by means of<br />
DH+ communication channel 1.<br />
Configuring the <strong>DeviceNet</strong> Pass-Through Driver<br />
Before you can communicate with the <strong>1747</strong>-SDN module via a DH+<br />
network, you must first configure the <strong>DeviceNet</strong> pass-through driver<br />
(<strong>1747</strong>-SDNPT) with a DH+ port using R<strong>SL</strong>inx, version 2.10 or higher.<br />
Use the following procedure:<br />
1. Start R<strong>SL</strong>inx.<br />
2. From the Communications menu, select Configure Drivers.<br />
The Configure Drivers window will appear.<br />
3. Select <strong>DeviceNet</strong> Drivers from the Available Driver Types<br />
pull-down list and click on Add/New.
