<strong>Congratulations</strong> <strong>to</strong> the Buckhorn High School Scholars' Bowl team. They finished the Madison County<br />
Season as County champions for the seventh year in a row. Their record against other county schools was<br />
17-1. Walker Ericsson, Tessa Hawkins, and Rachel Wall made the All-County Team. Walker was the<br />
County MVP for the second year in a row.<br />
<strong>Congratulations</strong> <strong>to</strong> the Lady Bucks Varsity and JV Softball Teams - Champions of the Lady Wildcats, Sax<br />
High School Tournament. Varsity winning pitchers - Caitlyn Hayden had two wins and one save; Brenee’<br />
Cox had two wins. Leading Hitters – Katelyn Nowakowski had six hits and one homerun. Brooke Miller<br />
had four hits; Jennifer Kern and Alyssa Daugherty each had three hits and one home run! GO LADY<br />
BUCKS!!<br />

Rusty Hughes’ 8th grade His<strong>to</strong>ry classes completed Seven<br />
Wonders/Trojan Horse his<strong>to</strong>ry projects. Students made 3D models,<br />
blue prints of their diagram, wrote an essay, and designed a pho<strong>to</strong><br />
journal <strong>to</strong> document their journey. Students again this year out did<br />
themselves by making very realistic models.<br />
The BMS Band was proud <strong>to</strong> have the following<br />
students participate in the Eighth Annual Madison<br />
County Honor Band on January 10-11, 2013: Tyler<br />

Dean, Ben Doty, Sarah Geist, Hannah Gray, Jacob<br />

Jaramillo, Gabe Keeter, Chris<strong>to</strong>pher Mendoza, Isaiah<br />
Pullum, Michael Reed, Danielle Stewart, Connor<br />
Swinea, Bree Tatum and Ciera Wilken. In addition,<br />
Bethany Brock, Matthew Dean and Amelia Harrison<br />
were chosen as 1 st chair on their respective<br />
