HISTORICAL CELEBRATION<br />
In February, fourth grade students celebrated African<br />
American His<strong>to</strong>ry month by creating a museum depicting<br />
the contributions made by various famous African<br />
Americans. Mrs. Geraldine Tibbs was the guest speaker for<br />
this exciting his<strong>to</strong>rical celebration. Parents, students, and<br />
the EES school community shared in this delightful<br />
depiction of the past.<br />
Second Grade Celebrates<br />
EES second graders had a Read Across America/Coast <strong>to</strong> Coast "Read-A-Thon" day, Friday, March 1 st .<br />
Students wore their PJ's as they enjoyed reading and taking AR tests all day. Students that made between<br />
an 80-100 were given special prizes for their participation.<br />
The Endeavor Elementary Spelling Bee<br />
was held on January 14,<br />

Muery. <strong>Congratulations</strong> <strong>to</strong> Logan Morris,<br />
a fifth grade student in Mrs. Bender's<br />
class. He is the 2013 EES Spelling Bee<br />
winner and will represent Endeavor in<br />
the Madison County Spelling Bee<br />
competition.
