(3) Holy Spirit is God
Acts 5:3-4
"Then Peter said, 'Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your
heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself
some of the money you received for the land? 4 Didn’t it belong to
you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at
your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You
have not lied to men but to God…'"
(4) Equality and Oneness of God
Matthew 28:19
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit..."
2 Corinthians 13:14
"May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and
the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all."
1 Peter 1:2
"... who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God
the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience
to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by His blood: Grace and peace be
yours in abundance."
e. Illustrations of the Triunity
(1) To illustrate (the Triunity) is to explain by use of examples
or diagrams. Most illustrations of the Triunity are faulty
emphasizing oneness against threeness or vice-versa.
