the subject was resumed and the following came:<br />

to receive the great joy.<br />

It is in my mind and I think in yours but I have no help from<br />

these people because of its private and secret nature. Do you<br />

understand my position?<br />

(Yes, perfectly.)<br />

For I am able to see some good pictures o£ the future 'for her<br />

and it, but I know the shock of death and all the incidents of the<br />

horror and pain and sorrow and sleepless night are not the conditions<br />

nothing about the facts till a month later. They referred to remarriage,<br />

and later <strong>com</strong>munications showed that the whole affair<br />

was worked up from the spiritual side. A later message showed<br />

also what the " sweet burdens " meant and the expression was<br />

quite correct for the facts as told me. Subsequent incidents<br />

show how it was all planned and influence . exercised to bring<br />

about the union.<br />
