Holding a valid DHA health professional<br />
license (in any: medical / nursing / allied<br />
health specialties) and proof of having<br />
completed a satisfactory training program<br />
offered through a licensed and/or<br />
competent Hijama practitioner or<br />
therapist and/or institute as deemed<br />
appropriate by DHA<br />
Route 1:<br />
Professional Degree of Homeopathy<br />
(BHMS- Bachelor in Homeopathic<br />
Medicine and surgery) / licentiate from<br />
an accredited Homeopathic program of<br />
not less than five years including<br />
internship<br />
Route 2:<br />
To be certified from an accredited<br />
Homeopathy program of not less than 3<br />
years full time program<br />
Route 3:<br />
Physician privileged to practice<br />
Homeopathy with Homeopathic program<br />
of not less than one year full time<br />
duration<br />
The candidate must be able to prove<br />
that he has been traditionally<br />
practicing Hijama for a period of not<br />
less than 2 years and should possess a<br />
certification attested from court in this<br />
regard<br />
Not less than two years after<br />
internship<br />
Not less than four years after<br />
completion of the course<br />
For UAE nationals who do not meet the<br />
stated educational requirements, but has<br />
been traditionally practicing Hijama, the<br />
designated panel reviews the candidate<br />
portfolio, and recommends the<br />
application for DHA licensure, if the<br />
candidate meets the professional<br />
standard as defined by the panel<br />
All applicants must demonstrate a<br />
current license/ registration to practice<br />
in home country or country of last<br />
employment<br />
Physician must hold a valid DHA<br />
license to practice as a physician<br />
