Title Qualifications Experience
Route 1:
Bachelor degree or Diploma or its equivalent from an accredited
institution in Nuclear Medicine Imaging (not less than three (3)
years course duration) or
Associate degree (2 year curriculum) or 2 year Certificate from
an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine.
Route 2:
Bachelor degree or Diploma or its equivalent from an accredited
institution in Radiology or Medical Imaging (not less than three
(3) years course duration) AND
Diploma/Master of not less than 12 months in Nuclear Medicine
OR
Post primary certificate in Nuclear Medicine by one of the
following bodies:
- The American Registry of Radiological Technologists
(ARRT)
- Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
(N.M.T.C.B.)
- The Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear
Medicine
- Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
Or other equivalent bodies.
Route 1:
Bachelor degree or Diploma (minimum of 3 years course
duration) in Radiotherapy, Medical Radiation Science or Medical
Radiation Technology.
Diploma or certificate from an accredited institution in
Radiotherapy/Radiography (minimum of 2 years course duration)
or equivalent
Minimum of two years’ experience in the
Nuclear Medicine field.
Minimum of two years’ experience in
Radiation Therapy field.
Minimum of two years’ experience in
Radiotherapy field.
