Route 1:
Professional degree of Traditional
Chinese Medicine (B.TCM - Bachelor of
Traditional Chinese Medicine) from a
recognized University of minimum 5
years full time duration including 1 year
internship
Route 2:
A Licentiate from an accredited
Traditional Chinese Medicine Education
program of three to four year years full
time or equivalent of not less than total of
2,400 hours (consisting of 1,500 hours
of theory and laboratory/clinical practice
and 900 hours of clinical practicum)
Route 3:
Physician privileged to practice
Traditional Chinese Medicine with an
accredited training program in TCM of
two to three years full time or equivalent
of not less than total of 1300 hours
(Consisting of 800hours of theory and
laboratory/clinical practice and 500 hours
of supervised clinical practicum)
Minimum of one (1) year accredited
program from home country in either
Ayurveda or Chinese massage therapy
Not less than two years after
internship
Experience: Not less than four years
after completion of the course
Two (2) years’ experience in the
related field
All applicants must demonstrate a
current license/ registration to practice
in home country or country of last
employment
Physician must hold a valid DHA
license to practice as a physician
Massage should only be practiced
(licensed) in a facility having a full time
licensed TCAM practitioner in their
respective discipline
