Route 1:<br />

Professional degree of Traditional<br />

Chinese Medicine (B.TCM - Bachelor of<br />

Traditional Chinese Medicine) from a<br />

recognized University of minimum 5<br />

years full time duration including 1 year<br />

internship<br />

Route 2:<br />

A Licentiate from an accredited<br />

Traditional Chinese Medicine Education<br />

program of three to four year years full<br />

time or equivalent of not less than total of<br />

2,400 hours (consisting of 1,500 hours<br />

of theory and laboratory/clinical practice<br />

and 900 hours of clinical practicum)<br />

Route 3:<br />

Physician privileged to practice<br />

Traditional Chinese Medicine with an<br />

accredited training program in TCM of<br />

two to three years full time or equivalent<br />

of not less than total of 1300 hours<br />

(Consisting of 800hours of theory and<br />

laboratory/clinical practice and 500 hours<br />

of supervised clinical practicum)<br />

Minimum of one (1) year accredited<br />

program from home country in either<br />

Ayurveda or Chinese massage therapy<br />

Not less than two years after<br />

internship<br />

Experience: Not less than four years<br />

after completion of the course<br />

Two (2) years’ experience in the<br />

related field<br />

All applicants must demonstrate a<br />

current license/ registration to practice<br />

in home country or country of last<br />

employment<br />

Physician must hold a valid DHA<br />

license to practice as a physician<br />

Massage should only be practiced<br />

(licensed) in a facility having a full time<br />

licensed TCAM practitioner in their<br />

respective discipline<br />
