Anaplastologist<br />

Bachelor degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics<br />

OR<br />

Certification program in Prosthetics and Orthotics (minimum of 4<br />

years course duration)<br />

Diploma in Prosthetics and Orthotics (minimum of two 2 years<br />

course duration)<br />

Completion of high school or its equivalent AND one of the<br />

following routes:<br />

Route 1:<br />

Board Certification by Board for Certification in Clinical<br />

Anaplastology (BCCA) or equivalent bodies.<br />

Route 2:<br />

Certification by American Association of Ocularists<br />

Minimum of two years’ practical experience as<br />

Prosthetics and Orthotics Technologist<br />

Minimum of two years’ practical experience as<br />

Prosthetics and Orthotics Technician<br />

- Minimum five years’ experience, after basic<br />

requisites, and experience in preceding<br />

designations<br />

- Presentation of paper at the relevant<br />

conferences. Papers published in relevant<br />

journals.<br />
