At least one year Internship
For Non UAE Nationals: at least 2
years’ clinical experience post
internship out of which one year must
be in general practice setup
For UAE Nationals (or equivalent) no
additional experience required after
successful completion of internship.
For Non UAE Nationals who
graduated from a UAE medical school
accredited by MOHSER additional
experience as clinical trainee is required
for one years after internship
Certificate of enrolment in an
approved internship program issued
by Medical Education Department in
DHA
Internship program shall include at
least 2 months rotation in general
surgery and 2 months in internal
medicine
Residents shall work only in Accredited
teaching hospital approved by Dubai
Health Authority (DHA) and/or
certifying board such as Arab Board.
Special Note: Non UAE Nationals
accepted into DHA accredited residency
programs will not require additional
experience after successful completion
of internship is required
