FOUNDATION FOR GROWTH, ORGANIZATION
UPLIFTMENT OF PEOPLE, INC,
GROUP
Organized in September 10, 1984, the Foundation for Growth, Organizational
Upliftment of People, INC. or better known as GROUP, Inc. is a progressive ans
sustainable social development organization of urban and rural communities
whose mission is to develop and implement various programs and projects
that will promote gender equity, social justice, economic upliftment and
community empowerment.
For 2010, GROUP continues its advocacy with the urban poor on issues of
land tenure security through CMP and direct negotiated purchase. GROUP
have intensified the conduct of savings mobilization to community associations.
One of the on-going programs of GROUPS is Bantay-banayin 40 barangays
in Cagayan de Oro city and fifteen (15) in Jasaan, Misamis, Oriental.
Currently the organization has four (4) regular staff with four (4) on-going
projects in in two (2) provinces
