8.11 Assembly instructions<br />

The suction pipe should be placed steadily ascending to <strong>the</strong> pump, <strong>the</strong><br />

supply pipe steadily descending to <strong>the</strong> pump.<br />

The cone <strong>of</strong> a conical suction pipe upstream <strong>the</strong> pump should be acutely<br />

conical in order to avoid deposits.<br />

A conical suction pipe upstream <strong>the</strong> pump with top cone prevents soiling<br />

on one h<strong>and</strong>, on <strong>the</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r h<strong>and</strong> it leads to <strong>the</strong> <strong>for</strong>mation <strong>of</strong> air cushions<br />

The pump should be adequately relieved from pipe <strong>for</strong>ces acting on <strong>the</strong><br />

pump.<br />

Never install a pipe bend directly upstream <strong>the</strong> pump. The distance<br />

should be <strong>the</strong> five to tenfold in diameter <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> inlet socket.<br />

Avoid air cushions.<br />

The pump’s delivery socket should be directed straight upward.<br />

Connecting <strong>the</strong> pump to a tank, air drawing-<strong>of</strong>f vortex should be avoided..
