4. Conslutions<br />

The achieved results demonstrate that digital image<br />
brightness statistical parameters – Brightness<br />
Average, Variance and Brightness range could be in<br />
use for quality assessment of the x-ray beam<br />
independently on x-ray machines and CR systems.<br />
