Development Assistance (MDA)’
Scheme was introduced w.e.f.
01.4.2010 replacing the erstwhile
system of ‘Rebate on Sale’ of khadi
and khadi products with the approval
of Cabinet Committee on Economic
Affairs (CCEA). Implications (a) direct
payment to artisan (b) Non seasonal
– year round.
