U Beograd sti`e prvi rentgen aparat krajem
XIX veka. Postoji iz tog vremena
rentgenski snimak {ake Kraqa Petra I
Kara|or|evi}a na kome se vidi (pu{~ano)
zrno u predelu III metakarpalne kosti.
Kraq Petar, pod imenom Petar Mrkowi},
je 1870. godine kod Sedana (kao {to
je to poznato) rawen u {aku.

1923. godine otvara Odeqewe rendgenologije
u okviru Op{tedr`avne bolnice
sa dva odseka: za rendgen-terapiju i za
rendgen-dijagnostiku. To odeqewe prerasta
u Zavod 1928. godine.

The first X-ray machine arrived in Belgrade
in late XIX century. There is an X-ray picture
showing the hand of King Petar I
Kara|or|evi}, which shows the bullet in the
region of the third metacarpal bone. King
Petar, was as it was wounded in his hand in
1870 near Sedan, where he fought under the
former name Petar Mrkonji}.

Sava Jankovi} opens the Department of
Radiology within the state hospital, with two
