Prof. dr Radmilo Tomin
Profesor hirurgije, na~elnik Slu`be za
onkolo{ke bolesti dojke od 1982. do 1990.
godine u Institutu za onkologiju i radiologiju
u Beogradu. Inicijator je brojnih
istra`ivawa, kao i uvo|ewa savremenih
svetskih pristupa u onkologiji.
Jovan Tomovi}, dipl. ekonomista
Pored poslova sposobnog privrednika,
jedan je od veterana u anga`ovanosti u
radu Dru{tva Srbije za borbu protiv
raka i jedan od predsednika Dru{tva.
Wegovo geslo glasi: „Vi{e vredi biti
po{tovan nego ~uven”. Jedan je od inicijatora
doplatne po{tanske marke i glavni
i odgovorni urednik prvog broja ~asopisa
dru{tva „Boqe spre~iti nego le~iti”.

Professor of Surgery, Head of the Breast
Cancer Service in the period 1982 - 1990 at
the Belgrade Institute of Oncology and
Radiology. He initiated vast research and
introduced contemporary comprehensive
oncology approach at international level.
Jovan Tomovi}, Graduate Economist
Prominent businessman and veteran when
his activities in the Serbian Society Against
Cancer are in question; he was also one of the
Society's chairmen. His motto is "It is better
to be respected than famous". He is one of
the initiators of the Extra-Cost Stamp campaign
and Editor-in-Chief of the first issue of
the Society Journal "Bolje spre~iti nego le~iti"
(Better to Prevent Than Cure).
