(CCLASS), formed in 1998, has 80 special school centres in the district which cater to<br />
about 2020 students. They could successfully send 534 children into mainstream schools<br />
for educati<strong>on</strong>. The society tried to increase awareness about the problem of child labour<br />
through village level meetings, workshops, rallies, etc. It was recommended that the State<br />
should realize the growing importance of its regulatory role.
