4.4 Nominal carcass dimensions
In case of the fabrication of doors, all dimensions conform to
the nominal carcass dimensions, DIN 18100, and to the di-
mensional co-ordination in building construction, DIN 4172.

The reference marker is a marking, which is exactly 1 m
above the surface of the finished floor (OFF) and it shall
not be more than 10 m away from the place of installation.
There must be a reference marker in every storey.

The fabricator of the carcass is responsible for observing

means of a hose level, a land leveler or a laser, the reference
marker can be projected onto the desired position.
