The installation<br />
The sealing plane is also to be continued in the area of the<br />
lateral window sill connection (fig. 33).<br />
The choice of the sealing material is further determined by<br />
the structural fitting. Selection criteria are the joint geome-<br />
try as well as the material of the structural fitting (masonry).<br />

Here as well, the manufacturer’s instructions, as e.g. the cor-<br />
rect application of sprayable sealing compounds are to be<br />
followed. This applies primarily to the surface humidity, the<br />
pressure resistance, the temperature, the material compati-<br />
bility and the surface adhesion. According to the condition,<br />
it may have to be pretreated with a primer.<br />
