6.3.1 Joint insulation
E.g. the following materials can be used for insulation:
■ 1-component polyurethane foam,
■ 2-component polyurethane foam,
■ glass wool,
■ rock wool,
■ cork,
■ insulation tapes.
Attention:
The installation
Pay attention that the insulation materials used stay
dry during installation. Otherwise, they will not main-
tain their insulating function.
PU-foams establish more or less pressure during the
curing, this pressure has to be absorbed by the window
construction.
