<strong>Regional</strong>-Based Statewide Minimum Performance St<strong>and</strong>ard: TBD<br />

Action Required for Noncompliance: Beginning SFY 2007, if the st<strong>and</strong>ard is not met <strong>and</strong> the results<br />

are below 42% (44% for SFY 2009), the MCP is required to complete a Corrective Action Plan to<br />

address the area <strong>of</strong> noncompliance. If the st<strong>and</strong>ard is not met <strong>and</strong> the results are at or above 42%<br />

(44% for SFY 2009), ODJFS will issue a Quality Improvement Directive which will notify the MCP<br />

<strong>of</strong> noncompliance <strong>and</strong> may outline the steps that the MCP must take to improve the results.<br />

1.c.ii. Perinatal Care - Initiation <strong>of</strong> Prenatal Care<br />

Measure: The percentage <strong>of</strong> enrolled women with a live birth during the year who had a prenatal<br />

visit within 42 days <strong>of</strong> enrollment or by the end <strong>of</strong> the first trimester for those women who enrolled<br />

in the MCP during the early stages <strong>of</strong> pregnancy.<br />

County-Based Statewide Target: At least 90% <strong>of</strong> the eligible population initiate prenatal care within<br />

the specified time.<br />

County-Based Statewide Minimum Performance St<strong>and</strong>ard: The level <strong>of</strong> improvement must result in<br />

at least a 10% decrease in the difference between the target <strong>and</strong> the previous year’s results.<br />

<strong>Regional</strong>-Based Statewide Target: TBD<br />

<strong>Regional</strong>-Based Statewide Minimum Performance St<strong>and</strong>ard: TBD<br />

1.c.iii. Perinatal Care - Postpartum Care<br />

Measure: The percentage <strong>of</strong> women who delivered a live birth who had a postpartum visit on or<br />

between 21 days <strong>and</strong> 56 days after delivery.<br />

County-Based Statewide Target: At least 80% <strong>of</strong> the eligible population must receive a postpartum<br />

visit.<br />

County-Based Statewide Minimum Performance St<strong>and</strong>ard: The level <strong>of</strong> improvement must result in<br />

at least a 5% decrease in the difference between the target <strong>and</strong> the previous year’s results.
