HOD Remarks:
• Applied for the Renewal of Consent for production of Writing and printing paper
(White) – 5000 T/M. (based on readymade pulp & without bleaching)
• Application received at SRO office on dt.09/12/2011 and at HQ on dt. 07/04/2012.
• Capital Investment of the Industry is Rs. 310.20 Crs.
• Industrial effluent generation shown is reduced to the tune of 5500 CMD against
the previous consented quantity of 6500 CMD.
• Domestic effluent is 500 CMD towards the previous consented quantity of 300
CMD.
• ETP of capacity 6000 CMD with secondary treatment is provided.
• JVS results are provided which are within the consented limits.
• ESP is provided as an APCS boiler.
• As per the decision of the CAC meeting dt.16.04.2012, SCN was issued vide letter
dt. 27.04.2012 to the Industry for Non Submission of BG, not providing adequate
APC system and non compliance of consent conditions.
• Regional Officer Chandrapur vide letter dt.03.05.2012 reported that
a) The said unit was visited on 26.04.2012.
b) Water sprinklers are provided at coal stock yard.
c) The work of Installation of dust collector at crushing unit, ash siloes were in
progress.
d) Industry has submitted BG of Rs. 50,000/- valid upto 31/03/2013.
• Now Industry has paid / submitted BG of Rs. 50000 as per the directions issued.
• The dust collector installation is in progress as per RO report.
• We may grant Renewal with BG of Rs. 5.0 Lakhs as per the matrix.
