HOD Remarks : • Application recd to RO Raigad 12/03/2012. • Application recd at HQ on 07/04/2012. • Existing unit, Mfg of Bulk drugs. Jubilant Life Science Ltd., Village Nimbut-Nira, Tal-Baramati, Dist-Pune HOD Remarks : • Application recd to RO Pune 02/01/2012. • Application recd at HQ on 03/03/2012. • Mfg of chemicals. • The industry location is in RRZ restricted area (Nira river A-IV Zone) • In the same premises industry has holding 5 consents for various products Existing I.E. – 1804 CMD, proposed IE-163. Total I.E. 1967 CMD. • Earlier board has granted consent to establish in 22/08/2008 and accordingly industry has obtained EC from MoEF. Now Industry has applied Phase-wise consent to 1 st Operate only for the mfg of acetic anhydride 125 MT/Day with IE 163 CMD. • RO Pune has reported compliance of existing industries and recommended for 1 st Operate with amalgamation of existing consent. • Board has already granted C to E and now the application is for consent to 1 st operate. • Case was discussed in CAC meeting held on 16/04/2012 and it was decided to verify the pollution load, applicability of RRZ policy reverts back to CAC. • Accordingly, industry has submitted details about effluent treatment and its disposal method for achieving ZERO discharge for proposed products, which seems to be in order. We may consider the case for short period for verification of industry say about achieving ZERO discharge with amalgamation of existing consent issued for chemical plant.
